You can remove ideas by either archiving or deleting them.

Archiving is a simple process that allows you to bring ideas back to the backlog, or refer to them later if needed.

Deletion is a permanent process and ideas cannot be recovered once deleted.

To remove an Idea from your Backlog, you can simply move it to the Archive tab. This places it in a suspended state and does not delete any information, so you can always make the Idea active again when it is ready to be worked on at a later time.

Archiving from the Ideas List

Find the Idea on the Ideas List, select it, and click  State from the contextual menu. You can then switch the idea to Archived.

Archiving from an idea

From within the idea, locate the state button on the top of the page and select Archived from the State drop-down menu.

You can also archive ideas through bulk update actions. To do this, select the Ideas you'd like to Archive from the Ideas List and click the Select State button from the contextual menu. Next, select Archived from the State field and click Update ideas to save your changes.

Deleting from the Ideas List

Find the idea you'd like to delete on the Ideas List, select the idea by checking the tick box on the left-hand side, and then click the Delete button from the contextual menu.

Deleting from an idea

From within the idea, find the ellipsis menu at the top right-hand side of the page and select the  Delete button.
