In ProdPad, there is a one-to-one relationship between a product and a roadmap. That is, in order to have one, you have to have the other.
We refer to a product as any component that requires a vision, strategy, objectives, and a set of outcomes for a team to reach.
If you aren't quite sure if you need more than one product, ask yourself - is the strategy different enough from one component to the other that you require a separate space for each? If the answer is yes, you've got more than one product! (If you're having trouble figure that out, book a roadmap clinic with us!)
In this document we will review how to:
Add a new product
Head to your Product Portfolio and click on Add button at the top of the page, then select New product.
In the available slideout you’ll have access to enter the following information:
- Product name
- Product Managers
- Product Line
- Product image
Click on Save & Finish to complete the process.
Delete a product
To delete a product, hover over the product and click on the ellipsis at the top right. In the contextual menu click Delete.
