Bringing Feedback from ProdPad into Miro
Have you ever wanted to look at Feedback for a certain theme? This cool little hack allows you to export your Feedback from ProdPad and paste it directly into Miro as sticky notes to infinity map!
Export Feedback from ProdPad
To start with, in your ProdPad account navigate to Feedback and export the Feedback you'd like to paste into Miro as a CSV file. You can read more about how to export Feedback in this help article here.
Paste Feedback into Miro
Once you've exported your Feedback as a CSV file from ProdPad, open it up. In this example, we're using the program Numbers, which is available on Mac.
From here, select Edit from the taskbar in Numbers (or any other program you're using) and click Select All. This will then select all of the feedback in the CSV file. You can then right-click and copy the selection, or simply use a keyboard shortcut for copy depending on the program you're using.
Next, head over to Miro and open up a board. Paste the Feedback directly into Miro and from the two presented options click Paste as sticky notes.Your Feedback will then be pasted into Miro as sticky notes in the same shape as your CSV file, ready for you to begin infinity mapping!
In this example, we have copied the whole table, but you might only be interested in the feedback description or something similar. The same principle applies, but instead of copying everything, you just need to copy the column you want and then paste it into Miro!
