Before you start inviting users, there are a couple of other key aspects we would advise you consider and put in place, to help with a smooth rollout and implementation.

Team Member Resources: How to log in to ProdPad

The following sections provide step-by-step guidance to log in to ProdPad once SSO has been added.

The following SSO methods are available for all plans Essential+:

If you have one of the following methods added to your account, feel free to copy/paste the instructions below for your team members.

 


To log in using Google SSO:

  • Go to the ProdPad login page at https://app.prodpad.com/login
  • Enter your email address in the email input field
  • Google Apps will match your email address and provide you with the Google SSO option

Once the admin has confirmed that Slack SSO has been added:

  • After the first authentication, next time you go to the ProdPad login page at https://app.prodpad.com/login, after the email is entered in the email input, the Slack option will always show as available.

Once SAML has been added by the admin:

  • Go to the ProdPad login page at https://app.prodpad.com/login
  • Enter your email address in the email input field.
  • Select the SAML button to authenticate yourself.

Once claimed domain has been added by the admin:

  • Go to the ProdPad sign up page at https://app.prodpad.com/signup
  • Enter your email address in the email input field
  • When prompted by the existing company warning, click on "Join this company"

  • You will receive an email asking you to authenticate yourself. Click on the URL to confirm your email address. After confirmation, you'll be able to proceed with creating your user profile.
