We’ve built out an API and use Zapier to allow you to integrate ProdPad with a wide range of other tools and services, including development management tools, project and task management tools, and customer support tools – and many more! Zapier integrations are free and currently do not count towards your subscription package.

Creating a Zap to push from ProdPad

To create a zap to push from ProdPad with your favorite integration, you first need to create the zap within Zapier.

Create a new integration in Zapier and select 'Pushed Idea' or 'Pushed User Story' from the options available

Go through the setup steps and map all available fields to your preferred integration as needed. Remember to test the Zap before going live!

Once you're happy with the results turn on the Zap.

When your idea or user story is ready to be pushed to your dev team, click on the "Push to Development" button on the idea canvas page. In the push options you will see Zap available.

    This article doesn't include info about finding my API key to set up the Zapier integration. I found it, but it would be helpful / have saved a little bit of time if there was a simple reference to wear to find it.
